Who is Petra?
Allow me to introduce myself …
Born and raised on Australia’s east coast, I spent my twenties taking full advantage of university libraries, wandering around modern art galleries, dancing until the early hours in sweaty nightclubs. I drank mezcal in Oaxaca and assyrtiko in Milos, and sunned my luminous skin on the pebbled beaches of Capri and the white sand of Isla Baru. I wandered and wasted time in the best way possible, filling notebooks with poetry and my mind and body with an eternal openness to adventure. Youth is fertile ground for all kinds of discovery, and after many erotic awakenings, I have delighted in my development as a sexually liberated, voracious and unashamed young woman.
Often described as fiery, passionate and quick-witted, I adore modern art (Louise Bourgeois and Nan Goldin are two of my favourites), poetry and literature, nature and, most of all, the opportunity to expand my mind.
My utmost joy is the communion with another person - the greatest artistic expression (in my opinion) comes in our relationship with one another. I find myself in you, yourself in me. Connectedness, embodiment and presence may be fading in the modern world, but not with me. They are my holy trinity for a life well-lived.
I could say more,
but how could I possibly deny you the pleasure of the real thing?
The anticipation, the licked lips, my knowing eyes, your laughter, the electricity, the crescendo …
